Small and large-scale murals help define Putnam County and its arts scene, and traveling to see each installation is a great way to enjoy the county. Starting in 2015 with “Greencastle Blossoms,” six installations led to the most ambitious mural, “the Silos,” the largest mural in Indiana.
Four unique, custom woodblock prints have been created by local artist Matt Rees. This traditional art style dates back millennia and Matt’s masterful work shines through in his depictions of Putnam County locations. Each print supports his work and Friends of the Park of Putnam County.
