The belief in sprites, elves and fairies is common around the world and popular in children’s literature. And, like their literary brethren, enchanted “Fairy Trails” have become popular in the US, around Indiana and, of course, in Putnam County.
Small and large-scale murals help define Putnam County and its arts scene, and traveling to see each installation is a great way to enjoy the county. Starting in 2015 with “Greencastle Blossoms,” six installations led to the most ambitious mural, “the Silos,” the largest mural in Indiana.
