Joining a small but growing group of competitions in the U.S., the A.I.M. (Amazing Indiana Marksmanship) Slingshot Tournament seeks to become the most recognized and esteemed Slingshot Tournament in the country.
A three-day affair, competitors take aim at a variety of events including two distinct woods courses, a speed shoot, and a long-distance “shoot-off” style event. Youth, Amateur, and Professional categories exist to accommodate all skill ranges.
More than 60 competitors from 13 states competed on the course in 2024, camping for the weekend at Jaycee Park. This event’s connections to the Putnam County Visitors Bureau, Putnam Parks & Pathways, and Greencastle Parks & Recreation Department allow for the use of Jaycee Park in this unique fashion.
Expansion efforts are underway but require assistance. Our event organizers are looking at the potential of both a new date and a new location for the event. We will be posting additional information as it becomes available and will open registration for the event on January 1st, 2025.
