Deer Creek Fish & Wildlife Area

Deer Creek Fish and Wildlife Area, near Putnamville, is a 2,161-acre park featuring excellent hunting, fishing and hiking over rolling agricultural land and mature oak-hickory woods.

Home to the sand from which Coca-Cola’s first green glass bottles hailed, Fern Cliff and its sandstone cliffs have long been a popular Indiana refuge.

Hall Woods includes a loop trail through a mature wood known for wildflowers, ferns and songbirds, and offers access to Big Walnut Creek, one of the highest-quality streams in the state.
