While McKim Observatory remains an excellent example of a well-equipped late 1800’s observatory, it’s in full use, including for stargazing events to which guests are welcomed.
The 18-hole Old Hickory Golf Course in Greencastle features 5,805 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 68.2, and it has a slope rating of 120. Designed by Bill McChesney, the golf course opened in 1982.
