Take A.I.M. at the inaugural, Amazing Indiana Marksmanship competition. Established by a local slingshot enthusiast and his son, we have worked together to create a unique weekend tournament hosted at gorgeous Jaycee Park.
From dusk to dawn during Independence Day, activities are constantly happening at Robe-Ann Park thanks in part to the Greencastle Parks & Recreation Department along with Friends of the Park of Putnam County. A 5K Race, live music, a dog show, and fireworks are just a part of the overall schedule.
Join hundreds of cyclists of all ages and abilities on one of three hand-crafted routes through Putnam County. 12, 40, and 62-mile options are on the table for beginners or those more serious needing a spring warm-up ride. Registration and additional information coming soon.
A first-year event for Putnam Parks & Pathways, the Vulture Vista Ultra capitalizes on the gorgeous DePauw Nature Park and adds a more “extreme” event to our offerings. Individual and relay options exist as well as two timeframes, making the daunting challenge of an ultramarathon accessible to all.
Starting from roughly 30,000 lights, a small funding pool, and a only a few volunteers the Winter Wonderland Light Show has grown to roughly 130,000 lights and is the staple event of the holiday season in Putnam County.
